Track Days |
Who can attend a Track Day?
Whether you have never driven on a track before or consider yourself a seasoned racing driver, these days are for you. As long as your car is roadworthy and has a passenger seat it can be driven on the track and these days are open to all.
Whilst the days are strictly non-competitive with no timing or racing, you will get ample time to learn, build and improve your driving skills with the help of our professional instructors. Our instructors are experienced in coaching people of all levels, from total beginners to experienced racing drivers.
Race cars, except open wheelers are welcome provided they have a passenger seat
When are Track Days held?
Track days are scheduled on the following dates:
Thursday 24 May - Eastern Creek Raceway
Tuesday 7 August - Wakefield Park Raceway
Wednesday 12 September - Wakefield Park Raceway
Wednesday 31 October - Wakefield Park Raceway
Private track days can be arranged please contact us for details.
How will the day be structured?
The day will start with a compulsory drivers briefing at 8:30am with track time commencing at 9:00am. Drivers will then be split into three groups, depending on experience, with no more than 15 cars per group. Each group will then have 20 minutes track time per hour throughout the day, with the last session on the track at 4:30pm.
Will Instructors be Available?
Professional instructors will be available throughout the days to answer your questions and provide personal in-car tuition. When your group is not on the track you are not neglected, instructors are available to answer your questions.
What do I need to bring?
- A roadworthy and mechanically sound car, Driving Solutions reserves the right to refuse any car access to the track if deemed unsuitable.
- Race cars are permitted ONLY if they have a passenger seat fitted.
- Helmets must be worn at all times when on the track. If you do not have a helmet one can be hired for the day, however, stocks are limited. Please specify that a helmet is required when booking.
- Long sleeve shirt, closed shoes and pants must be worn by all drivers.
- Sun block.
- Full tank of petrol.
