Defensive Driver Training – Stage 1
8:30am – 12:30pm - $149
Improve your skills and safety in your own vehicle, with this half-day course for drivers of all ages and experience levels. Learners with a minimum of 40 hours driving experience are very welcome. Our professional instructors take pride in making our courses enjoyable as well as educational.
Get behind the wheel.
You learn more behind your own steering wheel than staring at a whiteboard. We’ll help you put techniques into practice with hands-on training and exercises in your own vehicle.
As well as developing safer driving skills, you will also learn more about your vehicle, essential maintenance and safety features. We’ll teach you how to save money on vehicle maintenance by reducing wear and tear on the road.
Stage 1 techniques include:
- Vehicle set up
- Understanding vehicle technology such as ABS and traction control
- Emergency braking techniques
- Accident avoidance techniques
- Driver attitudes
- General road safety
All courses are run by our professional instructors, with a ratio of one instructor to four students. Courses are held at several convenient locations throughout NSW.
Defensive Driver Stage 1 runs from 8:30am – 12:30pm, Defensive Driver Stage 2 is conducted straight after Stage 1, commencing at 1:00pm and allowing you to complete both courses on the same day at a reduced cost of $250.
